How do I troubleshoot if I am having technical issues in a video room?
If you are having technical issues while in a video room, you can run a System Check to diagnose these issues.
At the bottom of the video room, click the Run a System Check button.
This will open a pop-up - please ensure the correct camera and microphone are selected, and then click Run Test.
Once you click Run Test , the Results section will populate with diagnostic information.
Please note we recommend a minimum video connection speed of 2000kbps.
If your camera speed is under the recommended speed, you will see a warning sign.
If the results are flagging issues with your webcam or microphone there are a number of steps you can take to resolve this.
Clear your cookies and cache
Allow permission for camera access in the browser
Switch browser
Switching browser or using Google Chrome' Incognito mode will allow you to give the correct permissions to take part in the assessment centre without further issues.
